Terms of use and sale
Last updated: October 29, 2026. A French version of this page exists; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern access to the Spunto service (the spunto.net website, its dashboard, its API and its MCP server) and the purchase of Spunto Cloud, published by Mathieu Marteau, sole proprietorship (entrepreneur individuel, EI), SIRET 829 917 988 00026, 23 boulevard de Cambrai, 59100 Roubaix, France (“Spunto”, “we”). They apply to anyone who creates an account (“you”), whether a business or a consumer. Creating an account or subscribing means you accept them.
2. The service
- Spunto provides isolated development environments (“sandboxes”) and has coding agents work in them (“tasks”), driven from the dashboard, the API or the MCP server.
- Spunto Cloud runs these sandboxes on machines we operate; it is the paid part of the service. Using your own machines or other providers connected to Spunto is currently free of charge on our side; those providers bill under their own terms.
- Agents use your own keys or subscriptions with their publishers (Anthropic, OpenAI…), subject to those publishers’ terms. What an agent does in a sandbox (code written, commands run, branches pushed) is done on your behalf and under your responsibility.
3. Account
An account is personal. You provide accurate information and keep your credentials, API keys and tokens confidential; anything done with them is deemed done by you. Tell us without delay about any unauthorised use.
4. Spunto Cloud prices and payment
- A sandbox is billed on the memory it reserves while it runs: €0.01 per GB per hour, counted by the started minute. A paused or stopped sandbox, one still building, and disks are not billed.
- The subscription costs €20 a month, credited in full to your workspace’s balance and spent as you use it. It allows up to 16 GB of memory running at once.
- Subscribers can add top-ups of €10, €20, €50. They do not expire. Unspent subscription credits remain available while the subscription is active.
- Payment is made in advance, by card, through our provider Stripe. Prices in euros, all taxes included; VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code (CGI).
- When the balance reaches zero, running sandboxes are paused (nothing is lost) and none can be created or restarted until the next top-up or renewal.
- We may change prices going forward by notifying you by email at least 30 days in advance; you may cancel before they take effect.
5. Trial
- The subscription starts with a 7-day trial, once per person: your card is saved, nothing is charged during the trial, and €2 of credit is included. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first month (€20) is charged automatically.
- We may also offer this credit at signup, without a card. It is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
- During the trial, one small sandbox (1 vCPU, 2 GB) runs at a time, and it is paused after an hour of continuous running; just resume it.
6. Term and cancellation
- The subscription is monthly and renews automatically. You can cancel it at any time from Settings → Billing (Stripe portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, with no pro-rata refund. The balance remains usable until then; it is no longer usable afterwards and is not refunded.
- You can delete your workspace and sandboxes at any time from the dashboard, or ask for your account to be deleted at support@spunto.net.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 7, without notice in an emergency (security, ongoing abuse), and otherwise after warning you.
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to support@spunto.net (you may use the template below). By subscribing, you ask for the service to start immediately: if you withdraw, we refund the amount paid within 14 days, minus the credits already used.
“To Mathieu Marteau, 23 boulevard de Cambrai, 59100 Roubaix, France, support@spunto.net: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the Spunto Cloud subscription taken out on […], account email […], name […], date […].”
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- mine cryptocurrency, or consume resources unrelated to software development;
- send spam, attack, scan or try to break into systems without their owner’s permission;
- host or distribute content that is unlawful, malicious or infringes the rights of others;
- circumvent the service’s limits or the sandboxes’ isolation, or open multiple accounts to stack trials.
Some network uses are blocked by default (outbound port 25, private networks). We may pause a sandbox that threatens the security or stability of the service.
8. Your content
You remain the owner of the code, files and data that you or your agents put in the service. You authorise us to process them only as far as needed to run the service. We access them only for operations, security, or the support you ask for.
A sandbox is a working environment, not a backup: keep your code in a git repository or elsewhere. A deleted sandbox, or the sandboxes of a deleted workspace, cannot be recovered.
9. Availability and liability
- We do our best to keep the service available and secure, with no availability guarantee (no SLA); interruptions for maintenance or incidents may happen.
- Towards a business customer, our liability is limited to direct damage and capped at the amounts paid over the last 12 months; we are not liable for indirect damage (loss of data, revenue or opportunity).
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights a consumer has under the law.
10. Personal data
See the privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. A change that is unfavourable to you is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies; you may cancel in the meantime.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at support@spunto.net: we answer within 7 working days. If that does not settle it, a consumer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France — online at cm2c.net or at declarer-un-litige@cm2c.net —, or to the courts of their place of residence. Between businesses, the courts of Lille (France) have sole jurisdiction.
